Check Out My Announcer’s Portfolio

ring announcer photoSince the late 1980’s in Hawaii, I have worked as a professional boxing ring announcer. Over the many years, I’ve ring announced hundreds of professional boxing shows in the Asia Pacific region, especially in the Philippines. From world title fights to regional fight cards in the most far flung places in the Philippines, I have stepped inside hundreds of rings to introduce the warriors who put it all on the line for our entertainment.

You know Manny Pacquiao right? Before Manny became a worldwide sensation and  was known only in the Philippines and around Asia, I ring announced many of his big fights. One memorable Pacquiao fight I announced took place at Manila’s Luneta Park in front of over 100,000 people!

For the last two years I’ve been ring announcing for the popular Pinoy Pride boxing series which is seen monthly on the Philippines biggest TV network, ABS-CBN. The next Pinoy Pride happens on March 1st, 2014 at the Solaire Hotel & Casino at Manila’s Entertainment City where I’ll be in the center of the ring again.

I also announce for other sports and many types of events. I’ve gotten into MMA events and also work in professional pool. Since putting up this site, I’ve started to collect many of the videos of events circulating out there that had me as the ring announcer. I’ve set up an “Announcer’s Portfolio” where some of the videos are already posted and more will soon be added. Have fun checking them out. I can tell you there is nothing quite like the excitement of standing in the middle of the ring in front of thousands of people and millions watching on television and introducing two guys ready to tear into each other in battle.
